The Count Down!

13 days and counting! Soon GG and I will be getting on the plane to head to Ethiopia to pick up our girls! We will arrive home 4 days before Christmas ( if all goes as planned). I have been busy getting all the gifts ready so when I come home with the girls we can dive into Christmas. GG and I will travel down to my sister Patty's house in Kirkland on the 12th of December and fly out the next morning. The Carlson house is full of beds! We just assembled the last set of bunk beds. Everyone is in a room and Pete and Jake are in an "area" on the 3rd floor -for when they come home from college. The Ethiopian girls room is coming together. Their closet is beginning to fill up with hand me downs from many of our friends. I am packing backpaks for the girls for the plane ride home. The stretch from Addis Abba Ethiopia to Washington D.C. is 17 hours!
